Enterprise Edition Now Interfaces with Laserfiche

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA. February 19, 2008. Blueridge Software, Inc.’s Contract Assistant Enterprise Edition now combines the power of contract management with document management. A newly developed interface enables Contract Assistant users to access their Laserfiche document management system from within the database.

The new interface allows users working in a Contract Assistant database to:

  • Attach/import a document into their Laserfiche document management system.
  • Scan a document into Laserfiche.
  • Identify and view Laserfiche documents associated with a contract record.
  • Select a document and open it for viewing or editing.
  • Execute seamless searches against Laserfiche stored documents.

The interface, which is integrated into Contract Assistant, requires DataNOW Affinity, which acts as middleware. Scanning requires the appropriate connection to high-speed scanning equipment.
